This intensive course was designed for doctors and medical professional with a busy schedule that want to take a big advantage of their total immersion experience. This course lasts two to four weeks, seven hours per day. In the morning there will be an overview over general Spanish, followed by 3 hours of Medical Spanish in the afternoon. Each student will be provided with a grammar and vocabulary textbook.
The students will obtain a list of basic vocabulary and a pamphlet containing dialogue and expressions used in a medical profession. The dialogue portion will represent a patient - doctor relationship including to interview a patient about his medical history, medications taken, aliments, symptoms etc. by using the specific anatomical terminology.

Also, homestay can be provided with this option for $140 a week, including weekly laundry and daily breakfast and dinner. Besides we offer volunteering options in clinics or hospitals around the area for $100 of administrative fee.
